Spencer Mullee, Direcror, Data Center Operations
Spencer Mullee is a graduate of the University of California with a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics and has completed coursework at Golden Gate University toward his Master of Business Administration. From 1996-1999, Spencer was a real estate development company project manager, working on large-scale projects related to data centers and call centers such as entitlement, development and construction of the EDS call center in Sacramento, California and the World Headquarters of Video Products Distributors. In 1999, Spencer co-founded Telegis Networks which entitled, developed, designed and/or constructed over 2,000,000SF of data space in locations around the world. Spencer led European operations (UK, Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, France and Italy) procuring property, negotiating contracts and agreements, working with governmental and regulatory agencies, overseeing planning, design, and pre-construction activities, and working in the data centers from construction through commissioning and operations. Subsequently, as a member of the management team at Venture Asset Group, Spencer was Director of Data Center Operations, leading the company’s efforts in over 100 data centers throughout the United States. At DCI Technology Services, Spencer's responsibilities include feasibility study management, asset marketing and overall data center infrastructure management and operations.
Tom Todaro, Managing Partner
Tom’s career is a mixture of restructuring and Mergers and Acquisition activities in the Technology space. Before co-founding DCI Technology Holdings, LLC., Tom was a principal of Venture Asset Group. At VAG Tom managed much of the restructuring and asset sales from Exodus (now Cable & Wireless). These activities included the renegotiation of $300 million dollars of IRU’s with companies including Global Crossing, AT&T, WorldCom and others. In addition Tom managed the sale of and reorganization of Exodus’s entire private equity portfolio. This included over 17 direct investments in operating companies related to the collocation and hosting businesses. In November of 2002 Tom and his team completed the investment and acquisition of EPIK Communications, Orlando, FL. After the purchase Tom lead the restructuring of EPIK reducing liabilities while increasing sales. Prior to VAG Tom was SVP of Mergers and Acquisitions at PayPal, Inc, a financial software services company in Mountain View CA. In addition to normal M&A activities Tom helped lead the successful IPO of the company in April 2002 and eventual sale of PayPal to eBay for $1.4 Billion in cash and tradable securities. Prior to PayPal Tom was Chief Operating Officer of Andale, Inc a successful enterprise software company in Mountain View, CA. Tom holds a Masters in economics from Stanford University.
